Film synopsis:

¡Sí, Se Puede! is a short documentary highlighting the immigration reform issues debated in the United States during the height of media coverage in 2006. Focusing on the stories of two everyday undocumented citizens working in the restaurant industry, this film gives immigrant workers a face and a voice. ¡Sí, Se Puede! makes clear the desires of undocumented workers and the conditions they face in trying to achieve their goals.

Production information:

The documentary was shot over the course of two months during the height of the immigration debate, from March to April of 2006. During this time period, the greatest number of rallies and demonstrations took place in the country. The film was primarily shot in central New Jersey, and the entire production was completed without a budget.
